SUMMARY 

Graduate School USA is currently seeking a Program Manager with an extensive background in Federal Human Resources Management (HRM).  The Program Manager will conduct or manage training related to Federal HRM rules, regulations, and requirements and will identifying and meet Federal customer training needs related to HR. The ideal candidate will work with Business Development to clarify customer training needs and identify, modify, or develop appropriate training solutions. The Program Manager also works with the Proposal Office, Marketing, Customer Service Center, and other Graduate School units and staff to provide training programs that meet Graduate School customer needs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Represents HR curriculum perspectives internally and externally to ensure product knowledge is accurate, relevant, and current.
  • Serves as a bridge between Business Development and the HR Curriculum staff, representing the School’s capabilities and striving to ensure accurate and effective HR training solutions are identified and presented to clients.
  • Collaborates with HR subject matter experts, instructors, and others to identify and formulate client-focused training solutions, and to modify existing HR training products to meet customer needs.
  • Works closely with the Faculty Liaison regarding the HR instructor pool, and as a central point of contact for instructor feedback and complaint resolution for HR courses.
  • Collaborates with the Faculty Liaison and manages annual HR course and instructor scheduling.
  • Identifies HR Instructor recruitment needs; makes instructor “new hire” recommendations with the Faculty Liaison.                                                                                   
  • Assists with proposal bid/no-bid decisions and proposal development.
  • Participates in marketing, conference, and networking events.
  • Performs other management-related duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 

  • Thorough and extensive knowledge of Graduate School’s HR product lines.
  • Knowledge of federal HR training regulations, employee training needs, and agency procurement practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 10 or more years of federal training experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant subject area required; Master’s degree desirable.
  • Strong computer skills to effectively facilitate communications and the management and analysis of data; Knowledge of Microsoft suite.
  • Excellent analytical, communication (written and oral), collaborative, and management skills.
